Thanks NBC Nightly News

Just wanted to share this fantastic little story that aired tonight on NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams. We also want to thank Mara Schiavocampo the FABULOUS reporter from NBC and her too adorable camera man Aaron Sasson for showing these wonderful dogs.
NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams

And in case you want to see the Video from NBC11 and MSNBC
once it is too!

  1. Marthina this is WONDERFUL! Look at you on TV!!

You did such a wonderful job with these dogs.

I don't think Vick should be out already. And he certainly should NOT make PSA's with dogs!! Or ANY PSA period!

  2. What an amazing job you guys have done with these amazing animals. They so deserve the love you've given them - everyone wins!

  3. I'm smiling - this is good. I'd like some more please!

  4. Great to see this on a national nightly news segment. You know it had too open some minds for sure. As long as vick is controversial and news worthy his former dogs will be as well. This story was obviously timed with his release from prison to home confinment. Oh the irony that his shady behavior has brought positive stories like this to mainstream media!

  5. YAY!!! They did an awesome job. Leo & Marthina - you guys look great!

  6. Thanks guys. I think they did a good job too!

I just think John Garcia is fantastic also!

Such a good story all away around!

  7. positive story!!

  8. Very nice Marthina!

You deserve props for all of the amazing work you and your organization have done, and continue to do, not just for Leo, but for so many other and equally deserving pit bulls and their people on a daily basis.

Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge, and training expertise to pit bull owners, and shelters, and other rescues, etc... is a shining example of what pit bull rescue and education is really all about!!
    You guys are the best!

  9. Tears of joy over here!!! Great job, Leo & Marthina!

  10. Thanks to everyone for the wonderful supportive comments!

  11. Absolutely amazing that something so positive was broadcasted at a national level.
