We are very proud to announce that our sweet Raven has been accepted in the Palo Alto Library's Paws to Read program. Thanks to the wonderful people at the Palo Alto Public Library for giving her this opportunity.
She had her first visit this past Saturday and we hear that she was a big hit! Our hope is that some of our other pit bull ambassadors can add their reading talents to their program. We can't thank her Foster Dad George enough for all that he has done with her! Now we are just keeping all of our paws and fingers crossed that she may be finding her forever home real soon!

ReplyDeleteRaven will be added to our therapy dog page soon. And stay tuned for another therapy dog that's about to pass his test!http://www.ourpack.org/therapy.html
ReplyDeleteGeorge you should be commended for this. I used to walk my dogs around Los Altos and Palo Alto and as dog friendly as they are there you rarely see pit bulls. Giving people the chance to meet them (adults & children alike) will open some minds up I'm sure. Thanks for doing this.
