Cool Guy, What Disability?
We've blogged about this gentleman before. His name is Gino.
He's suave, handsome, lovable and most of all optimistic as hell. He's also the one who has what's called Ectrodactyly, also known as Lobster Claw Syndrome. Yep, remember that fabulous trait the American Pit Bull Terrier, optimism? That's him. He still has his ehem, disability and is still going strong in his happy ole life. Love Pit Bulls.......optimistic as all get out. It's all good, especially when their person is around to love them.
Just thought we'd give an update on him. Here's his original blog form when I first met him. http://packrescue.blogspot.com/2007/11/gino.html#links
He's more fabulous now than ever, why heck, just look at this photo of him lovin' up his life! Go Gino. Thanks to his equally fabulous guardians givin' him the lovin' up stuff!!

This dog exudes pure love. It radiates from his body like sound waves. It came thru the chainlink fence at the shelter like a tap on the shoulder. It's great to see a Gino update, and he scored such a great home!
ReplyDeleteOh my boy!!! I LOVE YOU GINO!!! =) I'm so happy everything is going well with him.
ReplyDeleteDogs are amazing - THEY don't know they are disabled. We had some 'special needs' dogs at Pit Bull-palooza last week - a dog with 3 legs, and a dog in a wheel chair - and they just had NO clue they were any different than the 'normal' dogs. Inspiring in so many ways, our Pit Bulls are.
Gino is just an exceptional DOG period. I've been lucky enough to spend time with him at various events and he is always such a gentleman, happy to see everyone, unaffected by whatever may be going on around him. We can all learn from and be inspired by him!

I'm glad yall see it too. I lived with Gino for a bit and I sure miss him. He was one of Leo's first buddies. Gino was great at showing Leo the ropes and how life is lived in a home.
